By the Grace of G-d, we are thrilled to announce the unveiling of the Okanagan Jewish Art Gallery, a bold, beautiful new community building project dedicated to celebrating Jewish creativity, identity, and soul.
This gallery is more than an exhibition of art; it is a living expression of Jewish presence in the Okanagan, giving voice to stories, spirit, memory, and hope through colour, form, and imagination.
By bringing Jewish art into the public eye, this project strengthens community, invites meaningful conversation, and creates a welcoming cultural space where connection, inspiration, and belonging can flourish.
This exciting initiative would not be possible without the vision, dedication, and heart of Arlene and Andrew Simpson, Gabe Cipes and Lindsey-Esther Johnson, whose leadership is turning dreams into reality.
Artists interested in displaying their work, community members with questions, or anyone wishing to support this powerful community-building project are invited to reach out at [email protected].
Interac contributions are warmly welcomed via that email address as well, and directly support the growth of Jewish culture and creativity in our region through this gallery and beyond, under the umbrella of tireless efforts of Chabad Okanagan.
Please reach out to Rabbi Hecht if you'd like to discuss naming the Jewish Art Gallery in posterity. 250.575.5384
