We are excited to be building a warm and welcoming Jewish community in Armstrong; a place where every Jew can feel at home, connect with others and experience meaningful Jewish life. Our programs also warmly welcome anyone who is sincerely interested in learning about Torah, its teachings and its meaningful way of life.
It is a tremendous blessing for Armstrong to have access to the warmth and energy of Chabad and to the support and leadership of Rabbi and Mrs. Hecht. During the Jewish year 5787 - September 2026 through September 2027 - the community will offer a weekly Torah class, three Shabbatons, holiday celebrations and programs, children’s Hebrew school, personal Jewish support and, perhaps most importantly, meaningful friendships and a true sense of belonging.
The community needs to raise $25,000 to cover the costs of these programs for 5787, including rabbinic support, travel and the other expenses involved in bringing this vibrant community life to Armstrong. In the larger picture, $25,000 is a relatively small investment to bring this incredible and vital blessing to Armstrong for an entire year.
Members are invited to contribute according to their capacity. Your contribution may be given as one annual gift or through monthly donations. Suggested levels are $100 per month, $200 per month, $500 per month or more. Every meaningful gift is deeply appreciated, and those who are able to contribute more will help us reach our goal and strengthen the community even further. All donations are tax-deductible.
As a member, you will also be added to the Armstrong Jewish Community email list and WhatsApp group, where you will receive community news, program invitations, class updates and opportunities to connect with others.
