  • Welcome to the Okanagan's "Taste of Yeshiva" summer experience! 

    An eye opening experience where learning Torah becomes increasingly deeply appreciated!

    Nestled in the conducive atmosphere of Chabad's renowned warmth and joy, and sprinkled with wonderful outdoor Okanagan exploration! 

    Men Ages 18-28: Join the full Yeshiva experience including meals, outings and accommodations ($495 for the week)


    Men Ages 28+ : Join the full Yeshiva experience including meals and outings ($350 for the week)


    Men and Women 18+ : Join the daily evening lecture and dinner (By donation)

    Shabbat Morning service and grand luncheon is FREE and open to our entire community.

  • Rabbi Lazer Gurkow

    Rabbi Lazer Gurkow is a thinker and teacher that audiences relate to. In his easy, informal manner, Lazer engages his listeners and leads them on provocative journeys of thought.

    A sought-after lecturer, his talks combine hands-on mentorship with empowering self-help techniques. He is gifted with the ability to present the complicated in easily understood language and has successfully lectured to audiences across Israel, Australia, Europe and North America.

    Lazer has authored Portraits of Leadership, a curriculum on leadership for the Rhor Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) that was taught to 50000 students in six continents. A prolific author, he has published more than 1000 essays in print and online publications. He is a member of JLI’s curriculum team, a columnist for Chabad.org and Israel National News and blogs at Jerusalem Post and Times of Israel. His weekly Torah essays can be found at www.innerstream.org. He is the author of two books, "Reaching for G-d: The Jewish Book of Self Help",  and "Mission Possible: Living with Higher Purpose".

     Rabbi Binyomin Bitton

    **Rabbi Binyomin Bitton, originally from Lyon, France, is the founder and spiritual leader of Chabad of Downtown Vancouver, he's co-Dean of the Jewish Academy, Scholar and researcher for J.L.I.'s Machon Shmuel, and the director of the highly profiled Tzfunot Institute.

    A renowned Talmudic scholar, Rabbi Bitton's warmth, knowledge and passion for learning has brought him to teach in communities around the world as well as online.

    Rabbi Bitton is the author of the highly acclaimed Torah book "Mosdei HaEisanim - Rabbi Eliezer HaGadol" a very scholarly work about the great Talmudic sages Rabbi Yehoshua and Rabbi Eliezer Hagadol, as well as numerous additional publications.  He is also a regular contributor to various different Torah commentary publications.
