At The Family Shul @ Chabad Okanagan, you don't need to "Pay to Pray"! Tickets to all High Holiday Services are FREE of charge. All are welcome regardless of background and affiliation.

Donations are always welcome and appreciated.

Rosh Hashana Evenings (Night one and Night two)

1st Night -Wednesday evening, September 20th - 6:45pm - Communal Candle Lighting, followed by Services and Traditional Annual Rosh HaShanah Dinner! There is a $36.00 adult and $80.00 max per family charge for the annual Community 4 course first night Rosh Hashanah Dinner. (Complimentary for 2017 Shareholders).

Yes! I will join the ALL NEW FOR 5778 afternoon Special Family Shofar Service . To take place on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, in the afternoon. Thursday September 21st from 5:30-6:15pm. There will be a Rosh Hashanah Snack Bar.


2nd Night -Thursday evening, September 21st - 7:30pm - Communal Candle Lighting, followed by 2nd night Service and late night dinner.

Rosh Hashana Mornings! (Day One and Day Two).
1st Day - Thursday, September 21st - 10:30am to 12:30pm - Service begins with Torah Reading, followed by Shofar blowing and Prayer Service, followed by Sit Down kiddush Luncheon! 


2nd Day -Friday, September 22nd - 10:30am to 12:30pm - Service begins with Torah Reading, followed by Shofar blowing and Prayer Service, followed by Sit Down Kiddush Luncheon!

Candle Lighting Night two (Sept 21- After 7:29pm) 


Yom Kippur Eve

Yom Kippur Eve - Friday, September 29th - 6:22pm - Communal Candle Lighting followed by Kol Nidrei Service

Yom Kippur Day

Yom Kippur Day- Shabbat September 30th - 11:00am - Torah Reading followed by Yizkor Memorial Service and Mussaf.

Yom Kippur Afternoon - Shabbat September 30th - Mincha & Jonah Reading @5:20pm, Neilah closing Service @6:20pm, followed by Grand Shofar Blow and Break-fast Celebration minutes after 7:25pm! 


Sukkot Dinner

Community Sukkot Dinner Under the Stars - Thursday Night, October 5th- 4:30pm - Shake the Lulav followed by Community Sukkot Dinner.


Simchat Torah Eve

Simchat Torah Night - Thursday, October 12th - 6:35pm

  • Sizzling Delicious Hot Buffet Dinner!
  • Dance all night with the Torah!
  • Special flags & mini Torahs for the children!
  • Chassidic gathering to follow!
  • "Atah Hareisa" - All together Men, Women and Children!
  • A must for every Jew who wants to celebrate!

Simchat Torah Day

Simchat Torah Day- Friday, October 13th - 11:00am

  • Sizzling Delicious Hot Buffet Lunch!
  • Children - join under the Tallit at a special (Aliyah)Torah reading!
  • Join us as we read the last portion of the entire Torah for 3328th year, containing the individual blessings of Moses to all the tribes of Israel, and roll back to begin the 3329th cycle! It's a Great honour to hear these two readings, all present receive these blessings as well! More dancing and Joy ALL DAY LONG as we carry on this great tradition- Pack it in!
  • High Energy! A must for every Jew who wants to celebrate!
